Tagging with the Google Tag Manager
When triggered, the tag is just a small piece of HTML code placed on your website or app that, when activated, sends detailed tracking information to third-party analytics programs like Google Analytics. This system is used by Google and many other popular websites and apps to analyze and monitor user interactions.
Step by step to the Google Tag Manager
So how does it work? First of all, you need a Google account to become a Tag Manager developer. Once you are logged into your Google account, go to the "Tags" section in the Google Analytics content overview. On the right side of the "Content Overview" section, there is a dropdown box that says "Search All". Click on this link and you will be taken to a new page where you can select a specific web developer service. Once you've selected the developer service you want to work with, you can start creating custom tags using the dropdown menus on the right side of the section.
Components of the Google Tag Manager
The Google Tag Manager consists of a few different components. One component is the Google Toolbar, which displays a list of all your tags along with their descriptions. Another component is the Google search network, which you can use to search for specific keywordsrelated to your tags and monitor them. The last component of Google Tag Manager consists of two drop-down menus: one for managing your own tags and one for searching the Google Toolbar.
Manage multiple tags
Data from third-party Google services, such as. Google Analytics, are also collected and presented in the Google Tag Manager. The data layer collects and presents this data in a different interface than the Google Toolbar. The Google Toolbar collects data from your browser, while the Data Layer collects data offline using cookies. The data tier is intended for use by developers, while the Toolbar is intended for users. Developers use the Google Toolbar to create multiple Manage tags and track their activities within the major social networks.
Check your tracked devices
Google Tag Manager was originally introduced as part of the Open Tag Generator project, which was later integrated into the Google Android code. This means that if you have an Android app, or even an iPhone app, and you want to use the tracking features of Google Tag Manager, all you have to do is find the Google Android code and copy the code placed there (the path file) into your app's directory. From there, your app can connect to Google's tag management system, and you can see all your tracked devices in a graphical overview. You can see the number of users who have logged in and the tags they have selected.
What is Google Android SDK?
To take full advantage of Google Tag Manager's tracking features, you should store all your tracked data in a database. Google Tag Manager has a "Tag Helper" that allows you to create a custom code embed that attaches to each page in your app. Each page will link to the appropriate location on the Google platform where you can store the data. For example, if you have an app that displays a list of review photos for a particular service, you want to store the tags in a place where your customers can easily access them. All of this is possible when you use the Google Android SDK to integrate your custom code with Google Tag Manager.
